Here at Thorncreek, we still do things the same way today as we did nearly 2 decades ago when we first started breeding Pointing Labrador Retrievers. We begin by talking and debating endlessly about the important traits of the litter. The same issues are discussed each time; color, health, size, pointing, retrieving, demeanor, etc. Funny thing is, we always end with the exact same conclusion - focus on a breeding that we believe will produce the best upland pointing field dogs, but never ever sacrifice the dogs personality. So, if we always focus on the same thing, why do we go through the whole process every time? It's a Thorncreek thing! It's a tradition that reflects our genuine passion for our dogs, and a commitment to excellence.
